Nick Sirianni clears COVID protocols ahead of Giants game

Posted on December 25, 2021

Eagles’ head coach Nick Sirianni has cleared COVID protocols three days following his positive test.

After Philadelphia’s victory against the Washington Football Team, the Eagles announced Sirianni had tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. The head coach was said to be symptomatic and was placed on league protocols, conducting meetings virtually. In preparation for this coming Sunday, passing game coordinator Kevin Patullo was going to take Sirianni’s place.

Yesterday, he told reporters he was feeling “great”. And today, he has passed protocols, logging two consecutive negative tests.

Sirianni returned to the team’s facility and will be on the sideline tomorrow. Philadelphia (7-7) will play the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field at 1 PM. The Giants who are 4-9 are out of playoff contention.

Landon Dickerson has also cleared COVID protocols and will return to left guard.
