Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver A.J. Brown had a monster performance on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. His execution not only earned him career-highs, but also a drug test the following day.
A.J. BROWN DRUG TESTED AFTER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE
In the Eagles’ quest to remain undefeated, the now 7-0 team was victorious against the Pittsburgh Steelers, pulling out a 35-13 win on Sunday. And, the star of the game was wide receiver A.J. Brown.
Brown finished with a career-best 156 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns of 25+ yards. He became the first Eagles’ player to do this since Ben Hawkins in 1969, and the first player in the NFL since 2019.
On Monday, Brown was called for a random drug test, but was skeptical by how random it really was.
I would have a drug test this morning huh lol 🙄 Rogerrrrr this is not random 😭@NFL

Per league protocol, each week the NFL selects ten players from each club at random, generated by a computer program. Brown is not the first player to question the legitimacy of the draw.
Brown was traded to the Eagles this past offseason, leaving the Tennessee Titans. He is now on pace for playing the best season of his NFL career, with 39 receptions, 659 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns.
He and the Eagles will travel to Houston, Texas for Week 9 against the Texans during Thursday Night Football.
