Yesterday, the Philadelphia Eagles pulled off a 20-16 win over the Washington Football Team to clinch a playoff spot. Today, the team placed 12 players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Roughly a dozen #Eagles players – including Fletcher Cox, Dallas Goedert and Jason Kelce – tested positive for COVID-19 today, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo.
Based on updated COVID protocols, they all have a chance to be cleared in time for Saturday’s game vs. the #Cowboys.

The list includes the following:
- TE Dallas Goedert
- TE Jack Stoll
- RB Boston Scott
- RB Jordan Howard
- G Nate Herbig
- C Jason Kelce
- LB Genard Avery
- LB Alex Singleton
- DT Fletcher Cox
- CB Avonte Maddox
- S Marcus Epps
- S Rodney McLeod
This is Dallas Goedert’s second time on the COVID list after he tested positive earlier this season missing the game against the Buccaneers.
The Eagles are scheduled to play the Dallas Cowboys for their final regular-season game on Saturday night. Under new protocols, it is possible that many of these players will be back in time. However, with the team planning on resting some star players anyway, the outbreak may not make much of a difference. It remains to be seen whether Jason Kelce’s consecutive start streak is now in danger.
As long as Philadelphia can get their players healthy, the Eagles should be in good shape for the playoffs. Their opponent is to be determined.
