Kick-off against the Los Angeles Chargers was at 4:05 PM today, and the Philadelphia Eagles already have an injury. In the first quarter, cornerback Avonte Maddox hurt his knee. The injury occurred on the Chargers’ second-drive of the game — 98-yards but no score.
The 25-year-old limped off of the field and was seen on the sideline riding a bike. He has now made his way to the locker room to be checked out by trainers.
Injury Update: CB Avonte Maddox (knee) is questionable to return.

Losing Maddox for the remainder of the game would be a huge loss for Philadelphia. He’s had an outstanding season so far and is much needed to hold the Chargers’ offense. Rookie Zach McPhearson is the Eagles’ only remaining dressed cornerback.
